This versatile, and light spey rod is designed for summer and winter steelhead fishing. At 12’8”, this  7 wt spey rod fits nicely under the trees on a coastal winter steelhead river. It will also have the power and ease to cast distance on wide open stretches where that extra 10’ might help you reach the far side of a tailout.
