Rogue On The Fly
September 23, 2017 - September 24, 2017
Rogue On The Fly
Join us for a weekend of fun on the Rogue at Indian Mary Park for our third annual Rogue on the Fly event. We are carrying the torch custom rod builder Gary Anderson lit 10 years ago when he started his Two Hands at Tou Velle event. Gary’s event was exclusively at Spey event. But, Rogue on the Fly is a steelhead fly fishing event, including and welcoming all fly-fishing methods. The weekend agenda includes casting presentations, fly tying demos, sponsored games (Steelhead Olympics), great food, and live music. Fly fishing manufacturers and their reps will be present to show you their stuff and, of course, you can try it out. Various vendor and outfitter booths will feature their products and venues. All games will be sponsored by conservation groups which include prizes. Call it a clave or gathering, we call it Rogue on the Fly, A Fly Fisher’s Rendezvous.
When: Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24
Where: Indian Mary Park
Cost: Free
Other details: $5 Park Day Use Fee, Camping available at Indian Mary Park, reservations required. September is prime steelhead fishing, so bring your stuff.
